The Mindanao State University System Admission and Scholarship Examination (ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ SASE) was considered necessary due to the rapid increase of high school graduates competing for admission and scholarship in the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Campuses. As an institutionalized ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ System-wide examination first implemented in 1989, the basic objectives of which is admission and scholarship evaluation.
ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳-SASE, which is given once a year, is good for admission to tertiary-level courses. It also results to grant of scholarship to those who would be classified as among the top 20 examinees.

What is ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ SASE?
The Mindanao State University (ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳) System Admission and Scholarship Examination (SASE) is an exam conducted by all units of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ System in their respective responsibility centers. Students who make it to the cut-off score as determined by the highest and the median scores will have a chance of being admitted in the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ System Unit of their choice. Scholarships are also available to those who qualify the scholarship requirements of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ System and of the various scholarship sponsoring organizations.
Who are qualified to take the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ SASE?
Students who are enrolled in the Grade 12 of the K-12 program, as well as all senior high school graduates with no college background can take the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ SASE.
When will the SASE be?
The ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ SASE will be held on December 1, 2024.
Where will the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ SASE be held?
There will be Testing Centers all over Mindanao. For Iligan City and its neighboring municipalities, the Testing Center is ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳-IIT.
