The Learning Assistance Volunteers (LAV), an auxiliary organization of the Office of Guidance and Counseling, hosted the semestral Crash Tutorial Program on November 29, 2023, at the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳-IIT Park. This activity was held in partnership with the Center for Learning & Academic Support Services (CLASS), College of Engineering, and College of Computer Studies.
With the theme, "Peer Tutorial: Paving the Way Through Excellence One Step at a Time," the event aimed to provide students with invaluable academic support. The LAV team set up a dynamic Pop•Up Study Hub, creating an inclusive space for students seeking assistance with their studies.
The innovative program allowed students to freely join the LAV's tent and participate in tutorial sessions tailored to their specific subject needs. This hands-on approach aimed to bridge the gap for students experiencing academic difficulties, offering them a unique opportunity to receive personalized guidance from their peers.
The Crash Tutorial Program not only facilitated learning but also fostered a sense of collaboration and community among students. By bringing together volunteers and learners in the lively setting of the IIT Park, the event embodied the spirit of collective academic support.
The LAV team and their partners demonstrated their commitment to creating an environment where excellence is cultivated one step at a time. The success of the program was evident in the positive engagement and active participation of students eager to enhance their academic proficiency.
As the Crash Tutorial Program concluded, the organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone involved, emphasizing the importance of peer-led initiatives in fostering a culture of continuous learning and mutual support within the academic community. The event served as a testament to the power of collaboration in paving the way for excellence in education.
