The bases of these deadlines can be found in the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) Philosophical Framework and the deadline for the locking of grades for graduating students, which is on December 28, 2015. Please be reminded that manuscripts must be checked and edited by the SGS Secretary for the format, style and consistency (SGS Philosophical Framework, page 21). Please allow at least three days for this. Please remind the Special Project/Thesis/Dissertation advisers that the bound copies need to be submitted before the passing grade for the course can be entered.

The SGS is also implementing the Best Special Project/Thesis/Dissertation Award for each program this semester. Please use the rubrics for this award which has been previously distributed to each Coordinator during the final oral defense of students for the selection process.

For dissemination and compliance.
