Co-curricular and extracurricular activities are important parts of high school life. To help facilitate student participation in activities outside of academics, various school organizations provide opportunities for total development. Each organization or club is supervised by a member of the IDS faculty.
The following student clubs are duly recognized by the school authorities:
Adventurer’s Science Club (ASC) - Organizes science-related activities that develop the students’ scientific attitudes.
Cartesian Math Club (CMC) – Creates math-related activities such as peer tutoring and quiz shows.
Forensic Society – Develops skills in discussing significant and substantial current issues.
Intermix Club - Provides productive endeavor to IDS students who have a talent in dancing.
Kapisanang Mag-aaral Sa Wikang Filipino (KMWF) - Develops the students’ oral and written
communication skills in Filipino.
Red Cross Youth (RCY) – Inculcates the spirit of humanitarian services.
Ringkaran - Develops students’ inclination in music. Also known as the official choral group of Ӱ̳-IIT IDS.
Sports Club - Cultivate the love for various sports among students.
The IDS String Project - Interest group for students who play bowed string instruments.
The English Language League (TELL) – Develops the students’ oral and written communication skills in English.
Visual Arts Club - Develops among students a deep sense of art appreciation.
Young Entrepreneurs Group - Develop the passion to become aspiring and successful entrepreneurs.
There are two student publications in the IDS: “THE AGONG” is the English publication and “ANG AGONG” is its Filipino counterpart.
The Supreme Student Council (SSC) is the official representative of the students to the policy and decision making body of the school. It is composed of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, PIO, Senators and Year Level Representatives with the following functions:
