Doctor in Business Administration

The Doctor in Business Administration program (Professional Track) is designed to develop and advance the perspectives of its students through analytical synthesis and scrutiny of management and leadership theories and principles. Furthermore, as its goals are centered on producing graduates who can articulate their expertise and demonstrate their potentials at an organizational level, the holistic development of both the employer and the employee is rightfully assured. Awareness of the current issues and trends in organizational frameworks will also be examined and how these trends shape, affect, and develop the operations and dealings of an organization. In a nutshell, the DBA program aims to equip current professionals with the utmost skills, expertise, and adroitness in handling organizational issues by exposure to real-world scenarios and critical analysis of operations and practices employed in the workplace and a profound appreciation of conducting research for the betterment of the common good.

Fees

Tuition: PhP 1,500.00/unit

Miscellaneous: PhP 1,000.00 – 2,500.00/semester

Eligibility Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree or other similar/allied Master’s degree in business/management with at least five years of work/ professional/ entrepreneurial experience.
Admission requirements
  • Transcript of records
  • NSO authenticated birth certificate
  • Four (4) 2x2 ID pictures
  • Transfer credential or honorable dismissal (if school last attended is not ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳-IIT)
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character ( if last school attended is not ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳-IIT)
  • NSO authenticated marriage certificate (for married women who wish to carry their husband’s surname in their academic records)
  • Admission examination
  • Interview
Admission Process
  1. Submit application and other requirements.
  2. Pay the admission exam fee of P150.00
  3. Take the admission exam.
  4. Wait for interview schedule.
  5. Evaluation of application.
  6. Acceptance of offer.
Other requirements

Students who do not have a business-related Master’s degree must take appropriate bridging courses to be determined by the Program Coordinator based on the applicant’s academic and professional background. These courses are as follows:

  • Accounting for Managers
  • Economics for Managers
  • Business Technical Writing
  • Other bridging courses deemed necessary to prepare the students to DBA coursework and research.
Expected Learning Outcomes The DBA students of ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳-IIT are expected to attain Level VIII (8) of the Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF) . Thus, DBA students are expected to demonstrate:
  1. Highly Advanced Knowledge, Skills and Values;
  2. Professional Leadership in specialized or multi-disciplinary environment;
  3. Full Independence in various and complex work/professional settings with significant level of expertise-based autonomy and accountability.
