The dynamic character of business necessitates the constant and regular updating and enhancing of the Business economics curriculum to keep pace with the demands of the local and international business environment. The BSBA Business Economics is a newly revised applied economics curriculum which is designed to strengthen student’s understanding and appreciation of economic theories, develop their managerial skills, and enhance their knowledge in the use of mathematical or quantitative tools required in business analysis and decision-making.

Graduates of the BSBA-Business Economics program are better prepared in various careers. They may seek employment in several industries and banks or may venture into entrepreneurial undertakings. In addition, the intensive nature of academic preparation inherent in this curriculum will not only equip the students with adequate knowledge to enable them to face the challenges of the modern business professionals, making them globally competitive but will also provide them with the solid foundation required for them to survive the rigors of graduate studies.
